Community Event Support Microgrants

The Community Event Support Microgrant program exists to support organizations with deep community ties in hosting local engagement events aligned with OSCE program goals regarding sustainability, clean energy and climate. This approach is intended to reduce duplication of work, coordinate funding efforts to maximize federal resources, and ensure equitable funding distribution, especially to low-income and disadvantaged communities. Any organization planning to host an event that increases community awareness of sustainability practices, climate action, clean energy, community resilience and more is welcome to apply.

Guidelines for this funding are as follows:

  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are first come first serve.
  • Applicants may only recieve funding once in a calendar year.
  • Funding is allocated UP TO $5,000 per event.
  • Funding may not be used for expenses related to alcohol or swag.
