Capital City Muskies Inc board members put together a presentation on the ways climate change impacts the musky fishery and other game fish in Wisconsin. They then used this presentation to reach anglers and encourage them to take action on climate change. CCMI board members followed up with individuals that attended the presentations and consulted with them on programs and projects they could engage with to address climate change impacts locally.

What are Muskies?

Muskies are a cool water fish native to many Wiscsonsin waterways. They are impacted by warming waters, including lake eutrophication, loss of prey species and direct mortality from catch and release.
