Environmental Equity Solutions Consulting (EESC) is building a holistic healed system for Milwaukee's neighborhoods — one that heals the human, the home, and the habitat together, instead of treating each in isolation.
The work rests on three connected pillars. Person: mental, physical, and financial health — workshops, resources, and pathways that strengthen residents from the inside out. Property: the home itself—addressing lead in water and paint, energy inefficiency, and aging housing stock, from roofs to foundations. Planet: the habitat around us — tree canopy, green space, community gardens, and relief from extreme summer heat in neighborhoods paved in concrete.
A cooler, greener Milwaukee is central to this picture. Expanding the tree canopy cools streets, cleans air, and brings shade and beauty to blocks that have gone without — but a tree alone doesn't heal a neighborhood. That's why EESC's approach connects the dots: a resident who comes for a tree-planting workshop can leave with a lead-screening referral, an energy-efficiency contact, and fresh garden seeds in the same visit.
Because everything is connected — everything we do affects someone or something else —EESC meets people where they are, bringing resources directly into the neighborhood rather than asking residents to travel to them. The result: healthier people, healthier homes, and a healthier Milwaukee — together.
