Our Future Milwaukee
Municipalities across the state are creating plans to address climate change.
But where should they start? How can they engage the community? And how can they evaluate and report on the effectiveness of their plans?
Our Future Milwaukee is collaborating with the Wisconsin Local Government Climate Coalition (WLGCC) and other organizations to provide information and resources that will answer these questions.
Their project will result in a toolkit that addresses the needs of urban and rural municipalities, including BIPOC and indigenous communities. The following will be posted on the WLGCC website:
- A short video providing an overview of the Climate Action planning process.
- A Toolkit/Playbook featuring examples of successful plans, innovative models for community engagement, links to planning resources, and a directory of reporting platforms and consultants
