Wisonsin EcoLatinos used their award to offer free, bilingual assistance to small businesses that want to reduce their ecological footprint and earn a Sustainable Business Certificate. They worked with all types of businesses, no matter how small!
This project aimed to:
- Raise awareness about the benefits of sustainability for small businesses.
- Support small businesses in designing sustainability strategies, defining goals, and lowering their carbon footprint.
- Overcome educational and linguistic barriers to bridge the gap in small business access to sustainability resources.
- Drive a culture of conservation and sustainability within the Latino community.
