The OSCE was able to provide two rounds of funding to WI-CAN members with the Community Climate Action Support (CCAS) Fund. This fund was created as part of its mission to lead the State of Wisconsin in addressing the effects of climate change through programs and policies that support the use of clean energy resources and technology; lead Wisconsin's transition to 100% carbon-free electricity by 2050; and achieve the carbon reduction goals outlined in the 2015 Paris Climate Accord.
The fund was used to support the development and implementation of community-driven climate and clean energy solutions in Wisconsin. With two rounds of funding we were able to support collaborative projects that bring multiple organizations together to build capacity so that they can better meet the needs of their communities and expedite progress on local priorities. Check out previously funded and ongoing projects below!
For now, the Fund has been spent on two rounds in 2025 and 2026. We are always searching for more funding sources to continue this work!
